Independent Glasgow streetwear brand FORTY opens at Silverburn

Glasgow fashion brand has joined the lineup of impressive and popular stores at Silverburn – the city’s leading retail and shopping destination.

Opening today [23 October], the store will stock FORTY’S distinct streetwear pieces inspired by 90s terrace and club culture.

FORTY was founded by Gordon Harry Miller in 2013. Looking for a new challenge at the time, Harry took inspiration from his son Bryce’s doodle of a monster to create FORTY’S now unmistakable logo.

Harry had the childhood art printed on a t-shirt which he wore while DJing at a local nightclub. Since then, the image has been printed across all FORTY’s now iconic t-shirts, hoodies, polo tops and hats.

Gordon Harry Miller, founder of FORTY said: “We are truly over the moon to be opening our third Glasgow store at Silverburn. Our talented FORTY family can’t wait for guests of to experience our store and hopefully inspire people to experiment with their streetwear style.

“Glasgow is a hub of creativity, good music and cool experiences which visitors will see reflected in our pieces.”

David Pierotti, General Manager of Silverburn, said: “FORTY is a popular and innovative brand that we’re excited to bring to our guests as our latest addition to Silverburn’s offerings.

“Harry and his team have created a fantastic brand, depicting Glasgow’s creative side with their on-trend designs which we’re sure will be a big hit with our visitors.”
