Parent and child rooms 

We have two parent and child rooms around the mall – located near M&S and Wagamama.

If you need a bit of privacy during your visit, or if you’re looking for a quiet space to take a break, you’ll find everything you need:

• Clean areas for nappy changing
• Quiet spaces to breastfeed
• Sinks and facilities to warm bottles
• Comfy chairs
• A safe play space

Kiddy Car Hire

Kiddy Cars are now available at Silverburn.

Suitable for kids aged 12 months to 6 years, Kiddy Cars are the perfect way to make a shopping trip entertaining for the little ones.

Picking up your car is easy – simply download the Kiddy Cars app, enter your details, and scan the QR code on your car of choice.

Sensory toys & ear defenders

We understand that the shopping centre experience can be overwhelming for children or adults with additional support needs.

To make sure all our guests feel safe and comfortable at Silverburn, we have ear defenders and sensory toys available for hire free of charge. You’ll find these in our Shopmobility service, located on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park.

You may be asked to provide your name and phone number.

Pram and pushchair hire

You can hire equipment from our Shopmobility service to make your trip easier. We have a range of accessibility aides available, including:

• Prams and pushchairs
• Electric and manual wheelchairs
• Mobility scooters

Family parking

We have over 150 family parking spaces, with extra space for getting out of the car with prams and pushchairs. You’ll find them:

• On Levels 1 – 4 of the multi-storey car park
• In the red car park

High chairs

You’ll find most of our restaurants and cafes offer high chairs for the little ones. Just ask your server!

Things to do for kids

We love to help you make special memories with the family, whether that’s through our wonderful retailers like Fun Street and Cineworld, or with free events on the mall.

Ocean Adventure

Little ones will have a whale of a time at Ocean Adventures soft play, located outside Marks & Spencer.

It’s free-to-use and it’s decked out with lots of ocean themed activities including a crawl-through yellow submarine and whale slide.

Ocean adventures is suitable for children aged 0-5 years and parental/guardian supervision is required at all times. Click here for our Rules of Play.
