Global Recycling Day
Tuesday 18th March is Global Recycling Day, and we’re passionate about doing our bit for the environment. If you’re looking for ways to be more sustainable, here’s how you can get involved at Silverburn!
Schuh

The Perfume Shop

In a bid to increase recycling rates, Wagamama launched their Bowl Bank initiative. Simply bring back your clean and empty Wagamama take-out bowls to the restaurant, where a staff member will give you a voucher for a shareable dish in exchange. Sustainability at Silverburn
- In 2018, we successfully achieved zero waste to landfill and have continually achieved this every year since.
- We send 2,400 pallets and 1.8 tons of hangers for reuse per year.
- We recycled 939 tonnes of our waste in 2024, an increase of 13% from 2023. That’s the same weight as 63 double decker buses!
- Construction waste is separated by the contractors on-site before collection in order to reduce landfill waste
